Everyone has got their favourite rollercoasters that they enjoy riding time and time again. Maybe it is the experience that makes enthusiasts squeal for joy or it might be that their favourite coaster is made by a particular manufacturer… each to their own, everyone has got their favourites.
I most certainly do and I can tell you now that this list changed significantly 4 years ago once I ventured out into Europe and explored the vast array of parks. I can now understand why people rate certain coasters highly. Some may be featured in my top 10 below *wink wink*
So here is my list…

1. Wildfire, Kolmarden Djurspark

2. Expedition GeForce, Holiday Park

3. Nemesis, Alton Towers

4. Helix, Liseberg

5. Taron, Phantasialand

6. Montu, Busch Gardens

7. Shambhala, PortAventura

8. Troy, Toverland

9. Kumba, Busch Gardens

10. Baron 1898, Efteling
Now if you are an avid theme park enthusiast like myself, you may notice a certain manufacturer that has probably made the majority of the coasters on this list. Yep, that is B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard). Honestly, I am a huge fan of B&M and love their coasters!
Amazingly, I am not a huge lover of woodies so if anyone knows me well, might be wondering why a woodie is my number one. Well, technically Wildfire isn’t a true woodie, being an RMC but I honestly thought the riding experience was fantastic. The different elements of the ride were crazy, especially the Zero G like hangtime element – that was insane but so good! And because it was so thrilling and fun, it beat Expedition GeForce which I didn’t think it would because riding EGF for the first time… I was blown away.
This list will no doubt change when I venture more into the American and Asia parks. I look forward to trying out new rollercoasters in the future and just travelling the world. That’s the best part about this hobby!
That’s all for now.
